Speaker of the U.S. Business firm of Representatives, fellow member of the U.Southward. House of Representatives, who is elected by the bulk political party to lead the House. The speaker presides over argue, appoints members of select and briefing committees, establishes the legislative agenda, maintains order within the Business firm, and administers the adjuration of office to Firm members. The individual in this function is second in the line of presidential succession, following the vice president.
